During the latter stages of treatment we will put in place strategies based on individual clients needs for support post treatment.

This will involve other services such as social services, doctors, colleges, housing schemes, self-help groups etc.

For those clients who wish to stay in Porstmouth we will provide post-treatment housing.

Clients will also have the opportunity to attend ARC meetings, affirmation groups, certain modules they feel they would like to repeat and advice and support free of charge. Ex-clients may also involve themselves in a voluntary capacity at the centre as support and inspiration for those earlier on in recovery.

We do not believe it is possible for anyone who has reached the point at which they need treatment for drug addiction, that they might be cured in 12 weeks. Nor do we believe it is possible for ex-clients to be prepared enough to face the rest of their lives on their own by just 12 weeks of treatment. Therefore we will continue to support ex-clients through encouraging their continuing attendance at meetings, treatment modules, and centre activities, giving of themselves and receiving support.
